"If truth is truth, then all parts must agree."
These were the words the Lord used to begin to bring me out from the world of spiritualism and back into His fold. They have also been the guiding rule of my life in Him.
"If it is truth, then all aspects of it must agree."
Those words have also delivered me from many, many errors that have overtaken the Body of Christ. They have also worked healing, deliverance, and a depth and fullness of communion and fellowship with the Lord and the Holy Spirit that I believe we all long to have.
My road hasn't been an easy one. I was a backslider from God for roughly 25 years. It was never a matter of choice. It was a gradual takeover of the flesh and the devil until I was brought to complete destitution in every aspect of my life and being. Those curses of Deuteronomy 28 are still very much in play to those walking contrary to God,
It was a two year walk of small, gradual choices of obedience to come back to remembering God and seeking His salvation once again. From there, it has also been a 27 year journey through the wilderness, walking with Him through His refining fires, to come to rest in Him and in the realization that His truth is my peace, my rest, my hope, my strength, my "shalom." That "shalom" began with Him in me. The wilderness walk was to bring me into Him, wholly reconciled, restored and walking in seamless devotion to Him and agreement with Him, His wisdom and His ways.
He is the reality I abide in. His promises are no more something I bandy about like a magic wand to make my world and life a better place, but living truths I come to rest in. He is no longer the God of my own creation, as I want Him to be, or what everyone else has told me His is, but the God that IS, and He is far greater, far more glorious, magnificent and desireable than any imagination we could conjure up.
I want to leave you with this revelation. We often speak of Him as our shelter, our defence, our high tower that we run into and are safe. If you are like me, you used this as a metaphor to help you believe that God was where you could "hide out," a place I could access by faith that would protect me against all my enemies and make my life better. True, to a point. God works by faith, but faith must grow up into maturity.
The truth and end of our faith, the end for which God created us to come into, is far more glorious. He doesn't burn up all your enemies. Through His truth, He makes you impervious to all that they would try to do to you. And if you still end up in the fire, He is there with you. When this is so, when it becomes the reality of your life and faith, then what indeed can your enemy do to you? And if this is the reality of your life, whom should you fear? THIS is our victory in Jesus.
Helping you to come to these things in your own life is the heart and soul, the desire and motivation behind this ministry. Far too many of us are walking bound and blind to the truths that will set them free, or sensing the truth, have no idea how to get free of the cords that are binding them. I may not have all the answers you need, but I have faith in God that what you will find here will, at the very least, get you headed in the right direction, and open a way for Him to lead you into the truth you need to discover for your own life, where you are, now.
And if the truth of God sets you free, you are free indeed! (John 8:36)
